People are shopping fiercely on Flipkart’s Big Billion Days. In this festive offer sale, 66.6 crore people have visited Flipkart so far. Out of which more than 52% has been recorded from Tier-3 cities. 

During the Big Billion Days, people have placed 110 orders every second on Flipkart. Flipkart saw sellers doing one and a half times more transactions than last year. In this too, more than 35% have recorded more than 3 times sales. 

Small town sellers rocked

The number of millionaire sellers has increased by one and a half times, while the number of millionaire sellers has increased by 1.7 times. Of this, 60% of the vendors were from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. In the first five days, Flipkart delivered 1 crore shipments, of which 3.5 million shipments were from Kirana Partners. 

Big shopping took place from small cities

This time there was a huge sale of premium segment smartphones. It registered a growth of 3.2 times. Customers in Tier-3 cities bought big appliances, because 50 percent demand came from such cities. 

Fiercely shopping in electronics segment 

As soon as the festivals started, people broke up during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days, in which electronics and home appliances were a big part. The electronics category saw double sales compared to last year. Laptops, desktops, audio systems, cameras and tablets were the top sellers. Just look at these figures

Strong shopping in furniture segment

Work from Home (WFH) in the Corona crisis has now become the new normal. People became very interested in WFH furniture. Flipkart has set up around 50000 WFH furnitures in the furniture category. During this time, every 3 seconds, he has installed furniture in a house. In the furniture segment, Flipkart has received 1.5 orders every second.
