The web series ‘Mirzapur 2’ has been mired in another new controversy. Noted writer Surendra Mohan Pathak (SM Pathak), who has written several detective novels in the last five decades, films actor-producer Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani (Ritesh Sidhwani) inaccurate scenes about his novel Dhabba in ‘Mirzapur 2’ Notice has been sent about going. Writer SM Pathak says that in a scene in the third episode of the web series, his novel Dhabba has been wrongly filmed giving the context.

What is the scene

Surendra Mohan wrote in the notice that he came to know from those who knew that his novel Dhabba is mentioned in a scene in Mirzapur 2. The third episode of the Mirzapur 2 web series featured a character reading Satyanand Tripathi Surendra Mohan Pathak’s novel Dabba. This role is played by actor Kulbhushan Kharbanda. During the scene, Satyanand Tripathi talks about a character named Baldevraj, who is not in the novel. He also objected that what the character of the web series is reading in the novel Satyanand Tripathi is not in this novel.

Offensive lines: In the scene of the web series, the producers have put very objectionable lines, it is shown that whatever the character is reading from the novel itself, which has defamed the writer. Author Surendra Mohan Pathak has sent a notice about this to the producers of the series and OTT Prime Video, which broadcasts it. In the notice, the author has said that his novel has been shown in the series without his permission, as well as the lines heard in the scene are so lousy that he cannot even imagine writing. He has said that this has ruined his five decades of credibility.

In a week’s notice, Excel Entertainment, series producer, Amazon Prime, actor have been made the party. It is clearly stated in the notice that legal action will be taken if the relevant scene is corrected immediately. Surendra Mohan Pathak has given a week’s time to reply to the notice.
