In such a situation, Apple has extended the deadline of free use of its streaming service Apple TV Plus, which will be for select users. Apple’s select users will be able to use the Apple TV Plus streaming service for free until February 2021. It has been announced by Apple to increase the free subscription offer of Apple TV Plus service.
Who will be able to benefit
A free subscription to Apple TV Plus service was offered on purchase of Apple product manufactured in 2019 by Apple, the manufacturer of iPhone, whose limit was to end from November 1. Let us know that November 2019 is also the first anniversary of Apple TV Plus service. In such a situation, this service has been extended by the company till February 2021. According to a TechCrunch report, this annual free subscription offer will be applicable only to users who subscribed to Apple TV Plus before January 31, 2020. Meaning users whose monthly subscription starts from November 1, 2020, will be given a credit of about $ 4.99, which will be around 365 rupees for November, December and January 2021. Users will get notification of receiving credit via email.
Apple TV Plus service userbase
Similarly, users who have accessed the Apple TV Plus service before 21 January 2020 without purchasing any Apple device, will also be given free subscription to the free Apple TV Plus service for the next three months i.e., November, December and January. Apple TV Plus service will be available on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch, Mac through Apple TV App. According to a Bloomberg report, Apple TV Plus has about 10 million subscribers. However, it is unclear how many of these are paid and how many are non-paid subscribers.
