Coronavirus in India: Again on Wednesday, more than 50 thousand cases of corona virus were registered. According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry, 54,044 cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours (from 8 am Tuesday to 8 am Wednesday), after which the total number of infected have been recorded at 76,51,107. At the same time, 717 people have died and the total number of dead has reached 1,15,914. Please tell that the corona patients were registered under Manglawar under 50 thousand. At the national level, the rate of recovery has improved and now it is 88.81 percent whereas the death rate from infection is 1.51 percent. There has been a slight increase in the positivity rate, but it is still below 5% at 4.98%, while there are 7,40,090 patients in the active stage.

In the last 265 days, the number of corona infected in the country has crossed the figure of 76 lakh. In India, cases of Covid-19 crossed 20 lakh on 7 August, 30 lakh on 23 August and 40 lakh on 5 September, 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September and 70 lakh on 11 October.

It is a matter of relief that in the last 24 hours, the number of patients recovering from the coronavirus is more than the people getting infected. According to the Health Ministry, 61,775 patients have been able to beat this dangerous virus in the last 24 hours, while a total of 67,95,103 patients have been cured by defeating the Covid-19 virus.  

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 9,72,00,379 samples have been tested across the country till October 21. In the last 24 hours, 10,83,608 samples were tested. Of the 717 new deaths in the country, 213 in Maharashtra, 66 in Karnataka, 61 in West Bengal, 50 in Chhattisgarh and 50 in Tamil Nadu. So far, a total of 1,15,197 deaths have been caused by this epidemic in the country. 54,044 new cases include 8151 in Maharashtra, 6591 in Kerala, 6297 in Karnataka, 4029 in West Bengal and 3679 new cases in Delhi.
