Delhi Police is investigating the Delhi Violence violence in the national capital regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) . Delhi Police investigation has revealed that the gang of 8 boys in Bhajanpura is accused of arson and theft during the riots. Investigations have revealed that these people were carrying a hammer, rod and kerosene along with a crowd of 50-60 people, while speaking ‘Jai Shri Ram’. Not only this, the accused also looted cash along with the theft of goods in shops.
According to the information, the accused robbed bangles, combs, undergarments, massage machines, sofas, chairs, tables, heaters, laptops and mattresses, all from the shops. Looted cash worth lakhs of rupees and set shops on fire. 13 pair of women’s undergarments have been recovered from one accused. Separate 10 cases have been registered against them in Bhajanpura police station on the complaint of 10 people.
The accused include Neeraj, Manish, Amit Goswami, Sunil Sharma, Sonu, Rakesh, Mukesh and Shyam Patel. However, the court granted bail to 4 of the accused, saying that there was not enough evidence against them.
Recently, a Delhi court granted bail to two accused in a case related to communal violence in North East Delhi and said that no FIR was named in them nor were there any specific charges against them. The court granted relief to Rashid Saifi and Mohammad Shadab. The prosecution claimed against both of them that they are relatives of former AAP councilor Tahir Hussain who is the main conspirator.
