CBI is investigating the Hathras Gang Rape case . On Saturday, the investigating agency questioned the victim’s family for about 5 hours. The victim’s sister-in-law said that the CBI asked her questions related to the case. He said, ‘The investigation team did not ask me more questions. He asked me about Chhotu but I do not know him. He took the victim’s clothes with him. He kept asking questions for many hours. We did not feel any pressure.
CBI has set up a camp office in Hathras. This office has been built on the property of the Agriculture Department. The victim’s family wants a hearing in the case in Delhi. Those people also want to shift to Delhi. The victim’s brother said that he wants the family to be safe wherever they are. On the other hand, AAP MP Sanjay Singh said on Saturday that he is ready to keep the family of Hathras victim in his residence in Delhi.
The victim was entitled to the last rites according to religious rituals at least: High Court on Hathras case said
Let me tell you that on September 14, a 19-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped by four boys in a village in Hathras. On September 29, the victim died during treatment at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. On September 30, the police had forcibly cremated near his house in the dark of night. The family alleges that the police forced him to perform the last rites at the earliest. Police officials say that the last rites were performed according to the wishes of the family.

The Supreme Court has said in this case that the investigation of the Hathras case will be given to the Allahabad High Court. A bench of Chief Justice SA Bobde, Justice AS Bopanna and Justice V Ramasubramanian was hearing the public interest litigation and applications of activists and lawyers for the case. The bench was told that a fair hearing is not possible in Uttar Pradesh as the investigation has already been thwarted.
