If we want our relationship with the Ganges to remain the same as before, it will remain spiritually and physically beneficial for us as before, then the connection between Ganga and sewage will have to be completely broken. We need to stop treating Ganga as a ‘dustbine’ which drains the sewage.
The Ganges has the unique ability to purify itself. Note that such a capability is not present in any other stream of the world, but this process can continue even if the avidity of the Ganges will be prevented from being affected. The obstruction of the Ganga’s avidity and the degradation of sewage are the two biggest obstacles in its path of pollution-free.
