The dual character of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again been exposed to Islamophobia. Imran is opening a front against France on linking terrorism to Islam, but his language has been paralyzed on the issue of China. He is silent about showing Prophet Mohammed’s picture on Chinese television.

Will you boycott now?

Now the question arises whether Pakistan and Turkey, who declare themselves as advocates of Islam, will boycott Chinese goods? In France, a young man beheaded a teacher for showing a cartoon of Prophet Mohammed. When that young man was killed in police action, Muslim countries erupted. The statement of French President Emmanuel Macron against religious fundamentalism did not appeal to him at all. In response, a campaign to boycott French products was started.

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote a letter against France, even writing a letter to Muslim countries, even appealing for unity against Western countries. He said that it is necessary for Muslim countries to unite to bring the leadership of Western countries prone to Islamophobia to the right path. But now there is no voice coming out of China on the issue of China.

Picture showed on CCTV A video of a TV series broadcast on China’s TV channel China Central Television (CCTV) is going viral on the Internet, showing the scene of the Arab ambassador going to China during the Tang Dynasty regime. In the video, the Arab ambassador can be seen presenting the portrait of Prophet Mohammad to the Chinese emperor. A picture of Prophet Mohammed is shown in the TV series ‘Carol of Zhenguan’. It is worth noting that neither the China administration nor the TV channel has denied this claim. That is, Chinese officials have no problem with this. Therefore, it is natural to raise the question of whether countries like Turkey and Pakistan will oppose China portraying Prophet Mohammad?

French action continues

Despite the threat and boycott of Muslim countries, the French government has continued to take strong action against Islamic fundamentalism. France has locked many mosques. Let me tell you that President Emmanuel Macron had strongly criticized radical Islam. He described the teacher’s murder as an Islamic terrorist attack. In his latest statement, Macron said that he will continue to take tough decisions to protect the French people. He said, ‘Despite the controversies, despite the difficulty in making decisions, my responsibility is to protect all the French people’.

Along with France, Muslim countries around the world are opposing France, but India has come openly with France. The Indian Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that we condemn personal attacks against French President Emmanuel Macron in the unacceptable language in violation of the most basic standards of international debate. We also condemn the murder of a French teacher in a horrifically brutal terrorist attack. We express our condolences to his family and the people of France. There is no justification for supporting terrorism for any reason or under any circumstances.
