IPL 2020: Delhi Capitals on Monday added Karnataka leg-spinner Praveen Dubey (Pravin Dubey) to their team as an alternative to veteran spinner Amit Mishra. Mishra dropped out of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) due to fracture in the finger. Dubey, a 27-year-old leg-spinner from Karnataka, has taken 16 wickets in 14 T20 matches for his home team and gave runs at the pace of 6.87 runs per over. According to the press release, “Dream 11 announces the signing of 27-year-old leg-spinner Praveen Dubey as an alternative to Amit Mishra in the remaining tournaments of the Indian Premier League.
Mishra suffered an injury to his right hand during the match against Kolkata Knight Riders on 3 October in Sharjah, due to which he was ruled out of the tournament. “The 37-year-old bowler underwent surgery and is currently recovering from an injury,” the release said. Delhi’s team is on top in the points table and will face Kings XI Punjab on Tuesday.
Pravin Dubey (Pravin Dubey) hails from Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. Let’s play domestic cricket for Karnataka. Please tell that in the year 2016-17, Praveen Dubey was a part of IPL, during that he was included in the team of Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, at that time he did not get a chance to play a single match in the IPL. Dubey played in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the Karnataka team in the year 2019 and was successful in taking 8 wickets in only 6 matches.
In T20, Praveen Dubey bowls very well, especially in the matter of giving runs proves to be stingy. Praveen Dubey’s economy in T20 is 6.87. The leg-spinner has taken 16 wickets in 14 T20 matches so far. Dubey has also been successful in performing well in the Karnataka Premier League (KPL). This is why the Capitals have included him in the team.
