Jaipur: Big action by ACB, 4 policemen of Mumbai Police arrested taking bribe of 2 lakhs

Jaipur Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has taken major action on Tuesday. The ACB arrested the Mumbai Police sub-inspector and 3 constables taking bribe of Rs 2 lakh. A case of fraud was registered against a person from Jaipur in Mumbai. In this case, a bribe was sought to provide relief.

This bribe of 2 lakhs was taken in a private hotel in Bhankarota, Jaipur. Sub-Inspector Prashant Shinde and three constables Laxman, Subhash Pandurang and Sachin Ashok Gudke, working at Mumbai’s Borivali police station, were arrested from the Ganga Hotel at Jaipur railway station, taking a bribe of Rs 2 lakh.

Director General of Anti-Corruption Bureau Bhagwan Lal Soni said that the complainant Aman Sharma filed a complaint in the ACB that a fraud case was registered against Vinod, a Mumbai resident living in his house in Jaipur, in Borivali police station, in which his father on Monday night The above four police personnel of Mumbai Police were caught. He was pressurizing the father of the complainant to arrest the accused Vinod. In lieu of not arresting the complainant’s father, he was demanding a bribe of Rs 2 lakh from the complainant.

It is noteworthy that a fraud case was filed against Vinod in Borivali police station. Vinod is a resident of Mumbai. He does business of clothes trading by staying on rent in Jaipur.
