According to the data released by TRAI, the total number of users of Jio in rural areas has exceeded 16.63 million in the month of June. In this way, Jio has become the largest customer connecting telecom company in rural India in the month of June.
So many new customers connected to Jio Network
In June, Reliance Jio added 24, 45,574 new customers to its network in rural areas. At the same time, about 24 lakh users left Vodafon-Idea, while the number of users of Bharti Airtel fell to 20.68 million, 15,10,88,155 during the same period. At the end of June, 16 crore 60 lakh customers were connected with Vodafone-Idea in rural India and 15 crore 10 lakh customers from Airtel
The total number of users of Relinace Jio was more than 39 crore 72 lakhs by the end of June. Relinace Jio added about 4.5 million new customers in June compared to the month of May. Only Reliance Jio has managed to add new consumers during this period. Vodafone-Idea lost the most 48.21 lakh subscribers in June. Government company BSNL stood at number two, losing 17.44 lakh subscribers. Bharti Airtel stood at the third position. Meanwhile, in June, more than 11 lakh 28 thousand users left Airtel’s network.
