Madhya Pradesh: Woman refused to marry, shot female constable, later shot herself

Bhopal: In Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, a 23-year-old woman constable was allegedly shot by a man for refusing marriage. Later this man also shot himself. Both were admitted to the hospital in Barwani in a seriously injured condition. When the situation worsened, the woman policeman was shifted to MY Hospital in Indore.

According to the information, on Tuesday around 11:00 am near Ganpur quartet of Dhar district, female constable posted at Pachor police station in Rajgarh district was shot in the neck. According to the police, the woman constable was about to get married on December 2, for which she was returning home by car with her parents after keeping a wedding magazine in the temple. Meanwhile, 26-year-old accused Karan Thakur overtook the car and parked the motorcycle in front of him and then shot him.

In the case, IG Range of Indore range Yogesh Deshmukh said that the injured woman policeman Pallavi Solanki is posted in Rajgarh. He is shot in the neck, the accused is also from his village. Later the accused shot at his chest. According to the police, the 26-year-old accused is married, has two children, he was angry with Pallavi’s decision to get married. A case has been registered against the accused under IPC and Arms Act.
