Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) examination has been completed. The MHT CET 2020 exam was conducted in computer based mode across the country. The examination for the admission in BE (BE), BTech, BPharm or DPharm courses in colleges of Maharashtra was conducted between October 1 and October 20. However, the Maharashtra State CET Cell will once again conduct the MHT CET exam for PCM and PCB group for those candidates who could not take the exam due to lightning and heavy rains in Mumbai. Immediately after the examination is conducted, the CET cell will declare the answer key and the result of the exam.
This year, around 4,35,653 candidates have applied for the MHT CET 2020 exam. The MHT CET 2020 examination was earlier to be conducted in the month of July and August. But later it was decided to hold these exams in October.
State CET Cell of MHT CET Answer will first issue Provisional MHT CET Answer Key or Answer Key (Provisional MHT CET Answer Key). Through the provisional answer key, the candidates will be able to calculate their possible score. Students can raise objections to the provisional answer to MHT CET. After considering the objections, the CET cell will issue the final answer and will announce the result after that.
After the release of the MHT CET counseling process examination results, the counseling process will be started. MHT CET counseling will be conducted in three phases with an additional spot round. The counseling process includes steps like registration, payment of fees and document verification. Candidates applying on the basis of the score of JEE Main Examination will have to register for the counseling process and pay the required fees. However, candidates who qualify the MHT CET 2020 exam will not have to pay counseling fees. The candidates will be allotted seats according to merit.
