Japanese car maker Nissan India will launch its compact SUV Magnite in India around Diwali. The Magnite is designed on Renault-Nissan’s CMF A + modular platform. Nissan is the first car in India to use Nissan’s new logo.
Nissan Magnite Price
This car will be the smallest and cheapest SUV of Nissan in India. Although its prices have not been officially announced, but it is estimated that it can be launched at an initial price of Rs 5.20 lakh. At the same time, its automatic variant price can also be less than 6 lakh rupees.
Design of Nissan Magnite
The Magnite includes LED projector headlamps, L shaped LED DRLs, LED turn indicators, LED fog lamps, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, Magnite badging on the front fenders. The veil arch has a bold cladding, dual-tone bumpers with faux skid plates.
Nissan Magnite features
In this SUV, 8.0 inch touchscreen infotainment system will be given as the first features of the segment. Apart from this, connected car technology will also be available. At the same time, features like 360-degree camera view, cruise control will also be included in it.
Three big knobs for climate control, engine push button start will also be available under climate control knobs. Apart from this, tire pressure monitoring system, welcome animation, multi-function steering wheel, dual airbags, anti-lock braking system with EBD system, speed control, hill start assist, traction control are also included.
Nissan Magnite Engine
A choice of two engines can be found in the Magnite, although no official announcement has been made about the engine. But according to media reports, it is expected to get a naturally aspirated 1.0-liter petrol engine in its entry level variant.
It generates power of 71 bhp and peak torque of 96 Nm. It can be offered with a manual gearbox and an AMT transmission. Apart from this, it can also give 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine in the top variants. Nissan Magnite’s direct competition will be with the newly launched Kia Sonet and Hyundai.
