An update of Android 11 based Oxygen OS 11 has been released for the flagship smartphones of OnePlus. If you have OnePlus 8 or OnePlus 8 Pro, you can update the new software.

However, this OTA update has not yet reached every user. But slowly it will be available to every users of OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro.

In the coming time, OnePlus 7T Pro, OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7, OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T and OnePlus Nord will also be available.

OnePlus has said that in order to update Android 11 based Oxygen OS 11 to OnePlus 8 or OnePlus 8 Pro, at least the phone should have 3GB of free space and a charge of 30%.

How to check and update

Go to your smartphone settings, select Software Update and search for a new update. The phone is better if connected to high speed wifi.

If a new update is visible on your phone then you can download and install it. If you keep a backup of the important files of the phone in the computer before updating, it will be better.
